FERTILITY

Optimizing your fertility and overall health is the first step toward conceiving and bringing a healthy baby into this world.   Using Chinese medicine’s long history of successfully treating gynecological issues, we will look for the root cause of your infertility.  Our treatments can be used separately or in conjunction with Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) such as IUI and IVF procedures.

Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine can help;

  • Regulate hormones and menstrual cycles

  • Improve egg quality by increasing blood flow to the ovaries

  • Increase circulation to reproductive organs and benefit the uterine lining

  • Reduce stress and anxiety associated with fertility issues

  • Increase chances of conception and implantation with ART

A typical fertility treatment plan consists of 3 months of Acupuncture and herbal therapy, diet and lifestyle changes.  Expect weekly treatments for the 1st month, and minimum biweekly Acupuncture for the 2nd and 3rd month.  Plan for $1500-$2000 for 3 months.

NUTRITION

Nutrition from a Chinese Medicine point of view is the foundation to overall health and wellbeing.  There isn’t one diet, or one food that is best for everyone.  Like all Chinese Medicine treatments, dietary recommendations are based on an in-depth investigation into the underlying reasons and imbalances present.  Eating should be an enjoyable, and nourishing experience.  We strive to bring the joy back into eating real food and to optimize your digestion, energy levels and fertility in the process.

Chinese medicine nutritional counselling can benefit;

  • Fertility (egg and sperm quality, lining development)

  • Digestive health
    (bloating, constipation, diarrhea, colic)

  • Pregnancy

  • Hormonal weight gain

  • Fatigue

  • Sleep

  • Children’s development

Nutritional counselling can be a stand alone treatment or more commonly combined with acupuncture and herbal formulas for
greatest results.
